We would like to encourage you to submit materials about your current work to be considered for One World’s New Media for Social Change Competition, which will be a part of the 13th annual One World International Human Rights Film Festival being held in Prague, Czech Republic March 8 – 17, 2011. One World wants to bring together the best examples of how non-governmental organizations, government initiatives and non-profits – to name a few – are using new media to more effectively get their message across to an increasingly global audience in the digital age.

One World is the largest and most important human rights film festival in Europe and is firmly established as one of the premier cultural and media events in the Czech Republic. Our goal is to draw attention to the important work being done through New Media and Web 2.0 applications to the general public and the growing third sector. Your work can help inspire others to consider how the internet and technology have created new methods and approaches for dealing with some of the world’s most difficult issues.
